Privacy policy
What 0xPulse keeps about you, why, for how long, and how to have it deleted.
Updated
0xPulse is a backtesting service for trading signals at 0xpulse.com. This policy covers the public pages, the demo and the app. Questions and requests go to [email protected].
What we keep
- Your email address, to sign you in with a one-time link and to tell you about your account. If you sign in with Google, we receive your verified email address and your name from Google, nothing else.
- What you upload: signal files and their versions, the column mappings you save, your execution profiles, and the trade history files you upload for a live check.
- What the simulator produces from them: runs, trades, equity curves and exports.
- Sign-in records: each sign-in link stores a hash of the link and the IP address it was requested from, to limit abuse. These records are deleted after 30 days.
- Demo limits: a demo without an account is limited per network address. We keep a keyed hash of the address (never the address itself) and delete it with the demo after at most 7 days.
We do not ask for exchange API keys, we never place orders, and we do not sell or share your data for advertising. Your signals and results are private to your account: other users cannot see them, and staff look at them only to answer a support request you make or to keep the service running.
Cookies and local storage
| Name | What it does | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
pulse_session |
Keeps you signed in, or keeps your demo; essential | 30 days, renewed while you use the app; a demo ends after 7 days |
pulse_hint |
Says only whether you are signed in or in a demo, so the home page can send you to the app | as long as the session |
pulse_oauth |
Protects a Google sign-in while it is in progress | 10 minutes |
| Local storage | Your display choices: theme, colours for gains and losses, views | until you clear it |
We set no advertising or tracking cookies, so there is no cookie banner.
Analytics
We count page views and a few product events (a demo started, an account created, a first backtest run) with a privacy-friendly analytics tool that sets no cookies and does not identify you. We never send it your email, your strategy names or your signals.
Who processes data for us
Our hosting provider stores the service and its data; an email provider delivers sign-in links; Google handles Google sign-in if you choose it. Each processes data only to provide that part of the service.
How long we keep it
- Your account and what you uploaded or ran: until you delete it or ask us to delete your account.
- A demo and everything run in it: deleted 7 days after it started, or as soon as you end it. Signing in from the demo moves its runs into your account instead.
- Sign-in records: 30 days.
Your choices
You can delete runs and strategies in the app at any time, and export a run with everything it used. To get a copy of your data or delete your account and everything in it, email [email protected] from the address you sign in with. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to object, to correct your data and to complain to a data protection authority.
0xPulse is not meant for anyone under 18.
Changes
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes. If a change affects what we do with data we already hold, we will tell signed-in users before it applies.
